The Young Colts

In 2001/2002 season the club formed a second team and it was called Sperrin Olympic Colts and played in the Mid Ulster League starting in Division 4. Over the next two seasons they gained promotion winning Division 3 in 2003 and ended up in Division 2.
The Ballymena and Provincial Intermediate League then created a Junior League in 2005/2006 and we moved to this league to enjoy a higher standard of football with referees virtually guaranteed for every match.
This moved coincided with a change to the club name and we now became Cookstown Olympic Colts.
